Painting light, presence and transformation.
Contemporary painting exploring the relationship between light, perception and the visible world.
Faro, Portugal · Working internationally
Light is both subject and force in my painting. It reveals and conceals, transforms familiar forms and challenges the boundaries of perception.
Working across landscape, architecture and the human figure, I explore moments of presence and absence, where forms emerge, dissolve or become something other than what they appear to be.

Painting is not something you enter when conditions are right.
Painting is the condition.
Light interrupts and erases.
Forms lean and dissolve.
The canvas is not a window and not a message.
It is a stage.
Everything that enters it must justify its presence through relation — not through meaning. What matters is not what things are, but how they stand, interrupt, and hold space together.
Words come later, if at all.
Painting comes only from painting.

Light is not depicted, but felt — pressing, flowing, shaping the image from within.
